Bedlam Management Ltd.
Bedlam was started in 1988, on what was then the Government Enterprise Allowance Scheme, becoming a Limited Company in 1989.
It has always based its work ethic on very simple and straightforward principles. It's main purpose is to offer support in any area possible to artists who have strong ideals about the music they make and have particular ideas regarding the way it is to be presented.
The artist is the priority and good management is both invisible and ego free.
A short history.
Bedlam Management Ltd, Big Car (UK) Records Ltd and Arc of Light Productions were all formed at the same time in the late 1980's. Bedlam Artists Agency Ltd was formed in early 2007.
Bedlam Management represents three main areas of music, Vocal: Hayley Westenra, Connie Fisher and Aled Jones, Singer/Songwriter: Cerys Matthews and Classical: Julian Lloyd Webber, Tyler Rix, Lang Lang, Nicola Benedetti and Elin Manahan Thomas.
Bedlam Artists Agency represents Hayley Westenra, Cerys Matthews, Connie Fisher, The Kenyan Boys Choir, Christian Forshaw, Will Martin, The Pavao Quartet, Raven, Charlie Siem, Lang Lang, Nicola Benedetti, Tyler Rix, Ruth Palmer and Libera. Bedlam Artist Agency has also established a unique booking service for conductor Jason Lai, composers Karl Jenkins and Gabriel Prokofiev and Producer Ian Tilley.
More recently Arc Of Light productions has produced albums for The Choirboys and All Angels for Universal Classics and Jazz and Hayley Westenra for Decca.
In 2007 Bedlam Launched Harmonic, a club night dedicated to the best in Classical music presented in a casual and intimate environment with unique performances from young talent, alongside internationally established artists. Harmonic resides at The Arts Club, Dover Street, Mayfair.
